I don't know who all remembers me. Zaltron and I use to use BYOND all the time, we are coming back to design new things on BYOND due to the updates that have come.

I haven't been on BYOND because of health reasons and life. I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease 3 years ago, had to take a year off of college and lost my job(health reasons) that I worked at for a year. I am doing a lot better than what I have been, I am not all the way healed, so it's hard for me to work certain jobs. With your help, I will be able to have a good wedding. Please vote, you can vote once per day. Till Monday.

Suggestions for a better Map Editor.

I am working on an RTS game, and I got some of the basic units and buildings made and was starting to work on the terrain, grass, mountains and so on. But had issues because I don't want my buildings to be isometric but I want the terrain to be Isometric. So I am putting up this post as a suggestion for BYOND's map editor.

Take a look at the picture, explains my suggestion.

My buildings and characters are based off of a 32x32 tile grid. I design all my graphics with Blender(3D Modeling program)and am not able to render a mountain at an angle in a 96x96 or other custom size ?x? without cutting off the mountain itself or having blank space within the 96x96 rendered window which would be transparent and place wrong on the map editor of BYOND. I render my images at an angle

The ships on the left are experimental, the drawing of the ship is a concept art of a ship I found online, and the ship under the concept art is what I am currently working on. It is not finished and the materials are temporary till I finish the model.

I am still tweaking the length, size, and curvature of parts on the ship. I have not set up a good lighting system either. Meaning it will look better when I finish.
