Banjo-Tooie!! - Would that style work on byond?...

First let me just give a mini-review.

I just started playing it recently and wow. I know, I know, it's an old game, but I was really young when it came out. The game is massive, I would even go and say it's bigger than most games this gen. Especially since it's on the 64 without the need of an Expansion thingy. (Forgot what they are called.)

Of course, you have alot of bad frame-rate dips and it would have benefit greatly from the expansion pack. But what Rare has pulled off with the N64 hardware specifications. It's just amazing...

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't banjo-tooie one of the biggest games ever created? I don't know, I am still playing through it at the moment, trying to 100% it.

Anyway back to having a banjo-kazooie/tooie type game on byond.

I was thinking like sort of Online RPG style, with free form skill leveling, similar to Fable sort of. Where you can choose or not to choose what to upgrade to your aspect.

Character creation would be like, well yea this is going to be hard, but I really want to get involved with a byond project related to the Banjo universe... >_>

Post your ideas on how to make a banjo game work out for an online byond game. Or your thoughts on this matter.

Bai.

Metal Gear Solid 4

Yea, I beat it not to long ago. I am a huge MGS fan, and I have to say...

"THAT WAS AN AWESOME COASTER!!" :O..

Well, I will admit that there was ALOT of cutscenes! I mean, it's like 60% Cutscenes and 40% Gameplay. They even had a long cutscene that literally lasted about an hour and 30 minutes it seems.

Though, holy crap... I have never been blown away by a video game... This is just on a scale of GOD!

I also heavily enjoy Final Fantasy, while FF obviously has prettier cutscenes, the voice acting, animation, and all that in MGS4 was top-notch.

Near the end, I never felt emotion for a video-game character. (Well except Tidus from FFX, but I was like 10...)

But yea, enough of the cutscenes! Let me get to the gameplay! =D

You can play through this game many ways, Stealthy, Shooting, Tranq'ing. You can even beat this game without killing any enemys. (Exception of bosses of course.)

Near the end of the game you get badges of stuff and you unlock things for the next play through depending on how you did and beat the game.

MGS4 is a game no-one should pass up. Especially if you're a fan of the series. I will admit, you may be confused at the story, if you havn't followed it through with the past MGS's. Even I still have trouble trying to understand it, but I will tell you... One word explains everything in MGS4.. >_>

Also, they bring ALOT of stuff from MGS1 back into MGS4...

So yea, that's about it... Do not pass this game up!
