My New Tablet PC
So I've had my HP Touchsmart Tx2z laptop for about a week now...
- 320 GB 5400 RPM HDD
- Windows Vista x64 (will be Windows 7 once it comes in the mail)
- 4GB RAM (8GB RAM costs $320!! O.O)
- 2.2Ghz AMD Turion X2 Dual-core CPU (will be upgraded to 2.4 hopefully in the future)
- Wireless N
- 2GB VRAM (I'm assuming a 64bit interface since it's a laptop)
- Built-in webcam and dual-mic
- HDV and HDA
This beastly laptop runs Vanguard amazingly well, once it has rendered everything. But any computer will lag a bit while it renders everything.
Aside from gaming, some of the programs on it are very nice. Such as Windows Journal: I use this in school to take notes and such. Using the touchscreen keyboard is definitely different than a normal keyboard, but it's fun nonetheless. If you have big fingers, touchscreen might not be for you haha. I still have to get macromedia (Adobe?) Flash on this thing so I can draw and do animations and whatnot. I remember using it in my Multimedia class to make stick-figure fight scenes using a USB stylus pad thing (I hated that stupid thing with a passion, but at least it made drawing a little easier).
