Dragonball Z: Re-Defined Review

My first review.

You start off the game with the basic character creations and the rock the dragon theme song:

I decided to choose the Icer/Frieza race. After finishing up my character's customization I logged into a ripped Frieza icon with a random red hair overlay...

The interface had no set anchors so when I decided to maximize it this is what I got:

I began my training by entering a gym to find the usual set-up, punching bags, treadmills, and zenni machines. Along with that there was one halfway unique item a healing pod (that was rather buggy.) I decided to hit up the punching bag first and noticed that after hitting the bag, my character's icon would dissapear...

After getting tired of watching my character dissapear and holding down the attack macro, I moved onto the Zenni machine to gets me some moneyz! The zenni machine worked by clicking on it...There was no animation...OH HOW FUN!

After wasting time on the Zenni machine getting 0 zenni, I moved onto the treadmill and was immediatley thrown off it I continued the process for about two minutes and gained nothing at all..yay me.

I proceeded onto the dreaded self-training verb every dbz game on BYOND seems to love, it was more of a different system at least utilizing arrows keeping the players active:

I decided to try out that cool looking healing pod afterwards, I stood inside it with some of my character's icon sticking out and clicked the heal verb a few times stacking the healing process...

After waiting for the pod stack to finaly end I went back to punching the bag as a Game Moderator approached me and asked me to spar with him, I agreed the spar system kicked in:

After looking at the cool sparring system for a while I ended the spar and he teleported himself off to gain a transformation he said, but in OOC he admitted to editing his powerlevel in order to get it as well as deciding to restore my stats:

He returned to me and began to transform into a super saiyan jin:

He then proceeded on showing off some moves, first up was a Cosmic Halo (With sound effects which I love in games), the Cosmic Halo system worked a bit different then most games. You first target a mob in sight then as the halo is launched a new verb pops up that allows you to lower the halo onto the mob and tighten the grasp it has on them.:

I thought it was a decent feature, then he moved onto the spirit bomb technique (also with a sound effect, woot), He charged up the spirit bomb for a bit targeting me:

When he released the spirit bomb it just sat there and did nothing....not cool. Afterwards he teleported off and I trained for a bit longer (learning no techniques or anything). The Planet Namek was blown up whilst I was training killing all life on there for that moment from what I learned. According to the Game Moderator on, it was only accessible to SSJ forms for a short period of time after being blown up.

The game is still in early stages (v1.3 I believe it said.) I love how they have a sound effect for just about everything in-game. It could use a lot of work with the programming and deffinatley more work with the iconning. The game does have a bit of potential in it and I believe if the owner tries he could get a pretty good fan base.

Well, that's all for my first review, woot. Leave feedback please.
