"The Grudge" in Off Topic
As they say, "Don't judge a book by its cover!" People tend to do this...all the time. Even watching two to three episodes and saying the show "sucks" is still, in another way, judging it without getting to "know" the show. You have to watch a lot of it, I would say about twenty or so episodes, just to get the feel of the show, then...you may judge it however you wish. Well, me...I like everything. Literaly. Well, not everything, but I found myself likeing every single show I watched a few times. I mean, I don't watch it actively, but, I would probably like it. I like to give things a chance.
Leftley, I never said you have to do it. I was giving a suggestion, well, of what I mostly do. And stepping in "crap" and watching "crap" are two completely different things. Of course stepping in a pile of crap 20 times will not get you to like stepping in the crap. But, watching a crappy show may have a slim chance of you liking it after watching a few episodes.
For example, the sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond. I hated the first few episodes of the first season, but, then I began to like it after awhile. When the next season started, I liked it right away, but, one of my friends on the other hand, did not see the first season so he did not like the second one. See how it works? You have to like the show to begin with then you will like every season.
And if you have not noticed, every show that starts out, well, a majority of them...well, suck. I mean, they mostly in an odd way, have too. Nobody knows what to expect, not one show starts out big. Everybody Loves Raymond was probably the worst show ever, when it first came out. Then, it started to get funnier and better, as most shows do. Now it is the #1 hit show in America. See how things work? They go from small to big. Some go from small and stay there, then get thrown off the air.
What do you mean coming from a "DBZer"? You act like we are a group or something. First of all, I have not watched the show for 6 years, second of all, what does Faulty Towers have to do with anything? They had 12 episodes, good for you. If you have not noticed, I was talking about a show that has more then 12 episodes, that is why I have the number "20" in there. See it? Wait, to the left...alittle bit to the right...yeah, that's it!
You pretty much contradticted yourself. You say that it is my opinion that I feel that way, then you base your opinion, trying to insult me by saying "Coming from someone who enjoys Everybody Loves Raymond." That was your opinion. So, if you did not like me posting my opinion, why did you post yours? You think I might have liked it? I like the show, big deal. So does half of America.
