Game Listings Clean-up

Below is a list of games I have removed for apparent inactivity:

  • Pokémon Trainers Challenge
  • Pokemon Challenger
  • Digimon Sagas
  • Naruto - New Dawn
  • Dungeon Dice Monsters Online
  • Pokemon RP Reborn


This brings our listings down to 34 games. In particular we are very keen to explore BYOND games of an Anime / Eastern theme that are a little more niche, say super robot, Japanese Meiji period games (end of Samurai etc), magical girl etc. Basically whatever you like! Similarly, non-action and non-RPG games will be viewed very favourably, with us looking to assist in your development and hosting if you require. Submissions can be made here, and requests for assistance here.

I've also severely reduced the pool of contributors, due to inactivity. We're keen to bring on board a more active role in development of Anime games, so artists, programmers, self-motvated organised and diligent testers etc. Please just pop and introduction of yourself and your work (important) on the forums under Guild Discussion.

As a new BYOND Anime project, we're also looking for web developers to assist in a few early ideas to help promote your Anime games to the wider world more! Again, please just drop us a message on the Guild Discussion forum, thanks!

I'd be willing to contribute to Anime games, once I get a list of other games pre-planned done ;) Also glad to hear of progress in the guild.

Excellent! If you don't mind my inquiring, did you have any initial thoughts on the kind of game you might like to develop?

Yeah, my apologies on that. I had looked to defer the submissions process to our contributors (there's always so much drama there), but they all vanished! Seems the site update put a downer on them.

I think we may need to drop that submission process, as it's old and really doesn't put the right kind of focus on I feel, particularly these days. I'll look to push through the recent list, or address and that are appropriately bumped.

One thing to bear in mind though, is we aren't very interested in listing the same kind of game say ... 5+ times. If we have a Naruto RPG for example, a new Naruto RPG can't really be our focus.

Ah, so now we're going to be looking into games that are not RPG, but based on Japanese Culture, correct?

Not precisely, however a variety is nice. His point is clear, if there is one naruto rpg there does not need to be another. Lets explore the deep roots of Anime and create a new! I find this a very good idea, im more then tempted to find the least-mainstream anime and make a game out of it.

You've actually hit the nail on the head! I feel there's such a variety of things this guild could list out there, if only we experiment a little!

It doesn't have to be strictly Anime, so much as Japanese Culture in general. This is probably what this guild should have been about all along. Anime plenty of source material, but why limit ourselves eh?! =D

Aha, great attitude. However I still want to find the least-maintstream anime and make a good game out of it ;)

PS. Naruto isnt even in japan.

Great, I was hoping to create a Samurai game based around maybe the edo period. But give it an Anime-esque feeling.

It might not be Japan, but it's huge in there lol

There is one, Champloo Ikou Era by AllSmiles, Excellent game.

Which is based off of an Anime :] besides, Marissa doesn't even host it that often anymore haha :] and it was strictly RP I thought.

It is stricly Rp I think, however im all for this, since im a fan of Rp and all. (Bad Rp community IMO)

Well people don't really join an MMO based community to type :] mostly to point and click or press a macro to kill people or things haha.
