Hey, im interested in purchasing the domain, Strawgate.com. I will be willing to offer the nominal fee of about $20. Which considering how
little traffic the address actually gets would be a deal for you. So how about we start the price at $20 instead of $400, and we can haggle from there?

its not just about how you say it, but what you're saying. while your word choices make you think that you're being formal, what you're saying is really a joke. they're trying to make a profit from selling the website and you offer them $20. not only is that 1% of their asking price, but they probably wouldn't be turning a profit at that point.

Where do you get 2000 from? Go for the .net or offer a little more, 400 is rediculous.
