Why is it then that most people just mourn for the people? The only time I recall seeing people praised was on the day of.

Seriously, I think the rest of the world watch the aftermath of this event to see who would be bombed (remember WWII? Japan messed with USA, they got two places "nuclified" [pun on nuclear and nullified]).

Though can someone still tell me how the US went to get Saddam Hussein? I am still trying to figure out how they jumped from the Taliban to him and back again (Afghanistan > Iraq > Afghanistan).

Not to be insensitive, but people seem to make a huge fuss over a few thousand people dying just because they were Americans. I never see anybody calling to memory the hundreds of thousands who died because of the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake.

Not to mention the hundreds of millions who were slaughtered in warfare during the last century, the upwards of 50,000 who die from starvation every day, or the millions of people who continually die from various diseases.

But then, some might consider it a sign of the times.
