Well after looking over the last couple review of anime game
, I thought, 'How could they even log on the computer?'
So I decided to get it over with, and review the entire anime foundation.
GAMEPLAY: .025
Well, for the most part, it's all grinding levels, not very fun. When I logged onto a anime game, I saw people complaining to GM's about random junk. I usually log off within several minutes. In fact, lets just see how boring these games get:

Though there are a very few amount of anime games that are not in the category called
'rips.' Like a blue haired girl once said, "Aien't no f***ing way I'm coming back here. First day here and some f***ing guy dies, god f***ing hell."

Mostly all the same with the few exceptions.
GRAPHICS: 0.01

While some strive to be different, it's mostly all the same. When some games have random blocks of innopropriate images for users under the legal age, itt gets bad. Considering 75% or more of the anime population is under 9 years of age. With this, I move into...
COMMUNITY: .035
When one of the top guys of the anime guild dresses up like naruto and makes himself look ridiculous, I think that perhaps this person shows what the entire community is about. Moreover, 2000 8 year olds a community does not make. That just makes BYOND a giant daycare for the mentally retarded. Not a good thing for building your own net dream, 'Graaaw, naruto on tv lo

It's kind of hard for you to judge every anime game with one review.
I personally think the Anime Community is somewhat better (as in supporting each others games). Though I'm not apart of it, it seems like they support the developers just a little more. Even if the game sucks they atleast give suggestions to the "creator" and they also try the game out. | |

The thing is, I got tired of nearly every anime game I ever played being the same thing over and over. While on Chatters nearly every person that came in for game help wante an anime game, mostly saying they had a friend who coded or that they were coding it. Everytime one of those people came in the game was always a rip, not once original.
'Were making it original.' 'We changed like half of it.' Things like that were always said. I'm not saying that there arn't original anime games out there, because there are. M.High, Masterdan's game, and the few others I have yet to play. What I am saying is that in general most of the anime games out there are the same things again and again, or as we call them, 'rips.' I like the idea that people are trying to create more games, I just don't like them doing taking a source, changing a few things and then declaring it entirely new. That part about the GM banning and things, that isn't a real convo, I just wrote that based on what I've seen of the games I have played. I see that the anime community is the biggest and is what happens to be drawing players to BYOND, (my self included) . I am thankful for that, players for BYOND is great, it just needs to be shaped a little. Oh, and sorry Masterdan, only person I could think of so early in the morning. -TM | |
