Hm.. I was looking around wiki today around 11:33 pm and I saw something that said JR Chat so I was curious and clicked it and I saw Lummox Jr names on there. So I was wondering if he was the creator. Also if Lummox did help make it then I want to know if it was a smash hit.

It was Lummox. You'll notice posts by GreenReaper asking for him to start it up again occasionally.
Lummox JR made JR Chat for the Creatures sites way back when. He eventually migrated over to BYOND. Yes, they're the same person.

Running a restricted Google search using Lummox's actual name gives some interesting results. From AOL member pages to a freewebs one. And several little programs he made over the years.

It's always fun looking up people with unique names or aliases.

I've made quite a few interesting programs, and contributed to others. In '99 I contributed to development of a branch of POV-Ray. In '95 my first Web site was devoted to using DeHackEd to modify DOOM, and I ended up solving the mystery of the code pointers which allowed the author to make DHE 3.0 kick some serious butt (I also did the logo for it).

I think the coolest program I've ever made, though, is Blankless, which I developed last year. When I looked for binary merge tools online--because I actually had need of one--I couldn't find one. And when I built my own, I added "splice mode" that can splice up multiple partial versions of a file that don't have zeros to pad the empty spaces.

You are my hero for this. DeHackEd is an essential for making an /extremely/ good DOOM map, such as my friend's shrink.wad which made the characters 9 inches tall. =)

DeHackEd doesn't do any mapping or WAD editing; it modifies the DOOM exe itself to change the behavior of the monsters and weapons.

Exactly. He used it to make the nine-inch characters and modify their speed to slow them down significantly, then we just used turbo to go normal speed.

From what I've seen though, you have an obsession with space-setting themed websites. A lot of the websites I found (two actually... maybe three) had stars and Twilight Zone-esque intros (I think).
