Dream Seeker Crashes At Login "microsoft error" in BYOND Help

I run Windows XP and havent had a problem with dreamseeker. Ive gone through the %appdata% step from the byond help file it didnt work. i tried reinstalling it, re-downloaded it. and destroying the cache wondering if its a regedit fix? but cant find it.

This problem occurs at the login screen. I start up byond I type in my account name and pass and press login. then imediatly i get the microsoft error "byond.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

the error data is:
AppName: byond.exe AppVer: 0.0.0. ModName: ntdll.dll ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180 Offset: 00001010

for more info:
at the bottom of the login screen it says--
(logged in as tazman dc "offline")

Any help would be appreciated thanks abunch!

Also.... I have got it to work . but only if (at the login screen. go to file/preferences and switch my pager type to none.)

If i uncheck the bottom checkbox (show freinds) it comes back up with that error.

my problem isnt solved yet. I cant get into a game without a working pager. grr. this brings me back to step one. what can i do?

i would try unblocking this from any firewall you have if it still refrains from working go to start>run>%%TEMP%% clear everything out give your computer a good scan and clear out cache redownload byond again afterwards and if all fails go to add remove programs uninstall byond from there(all compoents) and re-download it again

Are you still having problems, Tazman? I'm trying to go back and catch un-resolved problems and just want to see if you are still having this problem.
