1 Membership Per Month,
Ok, Well i have bought approx 250 Byond Memberships for people i hardly know or don't.
I'm not rich like some might speculate, I'm just a working guy who likes to see a smile and hear the word thanks. I've bought these memberships over a lot of years.. so i had allot of time to accumulate such numbers.
So i would like to restrict the amount of memberships i do give out and also how to give them instead of my usual raid on chatters and make sure everyone on their has a memberships like i sometimes do lol.
Now if anyone has any suggestions on how i should choose whom i give the memberships to it'd be a great help? some sort of event or reward for something.. but i don't really have any decent ideas for this.
i used to just give out memberships to any programmer on chatters i saw since they are the most hardworking and deserving members of Byond due to there continued working and dedication to Byond.

How adorable. You're actually becoming defensive because someone disagrees with you. As already stated, Teka is in the UK. And even if he wasn't, please explain what the American economy has to do with BYOND. And, for that matter, it's funny you're assuming everyone here lives in America. Your point about the economy is completely moot and you're trying to over-analyze this to look smart. It's cute but sad.

teTeka you should give your memberships out to people you trust, and who like byond and play on it regurarly. myself I play on byond as a break of 1-3 days. As written below i assume your from the UK like me =). Membership should be given out in trust, myself I do not people who beg, as alot of benefactors do. but i am not a benefactor so i am more of a host.

Teka is in the UK if I'm not mistaken. They pound is worth much more than the US Dollar. An $18.00 USD membership comes to like, 8 or 9 pounds.

How nice of you think of BYOND as a sinking ship. The irony is, the memberships are the wood and glue that keep BYOND afloat. So you're suggesting everyone just buggers off into rickety life rafts instead of trying to fix what could be a much sturdier boat. I'll tell you one thing, when the storm hits, I'd rather the ship to the inflatable life raft.
