Air Gear is about a roller-skating type sport which have small motors in them to propel themselves at high speed and maneuver around the city's and threw the air.
The main character Ikki enters the Air Trek world, takes on gang's faces tough opponents and eventually forms his own gangs, becoming more and more skillful, climbing up the ranks of the air trek riders.
This anime has a lot of great moments, and great battles and things to laugh about.
