Ok First Episode of the re-vamped, all re-done Hunter x Hunter has been released.

Of course i've seen it, and i may be biased because i loved the show previously, but it seems to be great again and I really like the animation, and i look forward to watching it regularly till we come up to the point where the original version left us.

Then i'll get to see more and new stories, since i never actually decided to read the manga like i normally would, It was quite an oldy anime, wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people don't know it.

Also it looks like they are following the manga more directly, since it defiantly seems like they are skipping things i saw in the first version, such as episode one seemed to have covered at least 3 episodes of the original, so it's moving at a fast pace now.

Anyone seen the original, there's gotta be a few peeps? anyone seen/going to watch the new version?
I am o.O
I watched that years ago.
The manga is back as well after yet another year long hiatus by the author in the middle of an arc. He ended the arc immediately after returning from hiatus with a deus ex machina solution which led to a very anti-climactic and unbelievable end to the most powerful character the manga had ever seen.

I don't understand why you requoted that.

And Teka, Im excited for the new HxH to, I watched it last night.

Its really different then the first chapter of the manga and first chapter of the original anime. I hope they don't change to much
HXH!?!? I LOVE THAT SHOW, IMO THE BEST DAMN ANIME/MANGA ALONG WITH YYH (same creators of course) I've seen the anime, OVAs and greed island, need to read the manga (end of greed island part) but of course I'm going to watch this - so Togashi is finally off his hiatus?

For now. I give it about 6-8 months before another year and a half hiatus.
Im watching new verison, but i dont want to watch the original HXH
I recently started watching this thanks to Netflix... I'm on episode 99 (The Chimera Ant arc). Since Yu Yu Hakusho was one of my past favorites, this one has easily caught up in rank. I'm just confused as to why Kurapika and Leorio have been long forgotten since the Phantom Troupe arc. Chrollo Lucilfer... Didn't really see much from him. I wanted to see him face off against Hisoka.
It doesn't come yet its a long story just like One Piece/Naruto though the anime is stopping at 148 sadly :(. And I think the manga been on Hiatus for 2 years (rumor I heard I don't read manga.) But this is one of my favorite animes out there!
That's unfortunate... I'm really enjoying this series.
The manga released a chapter last month (not sure if it was just recently translated or if it was entirely new, but I assume it was new). It's a great read if you ever get into Manga.
