I've owned a website for quite a long time now, Mostly due to being upset that i lost the ability to modify the CSS for my Byond Blog, but after all these years i couldn't actually work out how to access the files or what to do to make my site.
Finally with a bit of help from Chwgt who placed the stepping stones for me, I've now learnt a little bit of what i needed to know and i'm progressing to work on my site. It will be full of uninteresting junk to anyone besides me, but i think it's turning out all right. The link is Tim-Tek.com  I'd appreciate some feedback, maybe some help integrating word press? or just general re assurance that the site is cross browser compatible. | |

Thanks guys, Though it would appear my design and layout isnt very appealing to most people :(
But.. it will keep improving as i gain more experience. @Xirre I believe the reason was: because the personal blogs were not the direction Byond wanted to go and they caused an un-needed section of moderation and drama which might look bad to the more serious developers which Byond wanted to attract. | |

I miss the old blogs as well. Sadly I doubt they'll be back in despite how much money they'd bring back from memberships.

Why didn't you link them with the next and prev buttons? lightbox is just copy and paste work. You shouldn't be having problems there. :O

The only problem was figuring out how to set light box up, no one explained that I had to put. Js files in my directory or even where the images needed to be, it's fine now.. But before... Arghhh

Oh, Tim. Does your domain get free hosting? Or do you pay for your domain to be hosted? I know a place that gives awesome free hosting. No ads, you can use php, sql, all that mumbojumbo still. They're awesome. It's where I host my site.

Well... Lol i have no idea i bought my domain a few years ago.. for quite a bit.. lol, i don't pay monthly it was just a big lump sum.

Looking good Teka, I'd suggest changing the color of the 'Chat' box to match everything else, since it's outside the white table.
