So I had a thought. What if we were to make a murder mystery video game? You are a well-know police detective and you are working on a case to solve a murder mystery. Someone well-known is killed and the police cannot figure it out. You are the only one who can. You are given clues as you go along and in the end you have to name the murderer and show the evidence.
Its a strategy/board/puzzle game that is played with npcs or other characters, one who is the murder. What's your opinion?
Sounds like the game Clue sort of. Or Murder Mansion.
Oh there is such a game already?

Ya this sounds a whole lot like the board game Clue.
Do you mean a story-driven game, i.e. there's one given outcome, and you're simply trying to reach it... Or do you mean a multiplayer experience where everyone is given a role, and one of them is the murderer? (The latter is Clue, Murder Mansion, Mitadake High, Mafia, etc.)
The latter one
