moatddtutorials: How to write Stories

Mark, of MOAT Digital Design, is a visual artist who has been posting tutorials on YouTube. He will be getting into storyboarding soon and has decided to share the outline process he goes through.

Normally, I'd try posting links in the forums, but videos are best on blogs. =)

The Writer's Guild Opens

The Writer's Guild is now open! We would like to welcome anyone who likes to write, read, provide constructive criticism and help with narratives, prose, poetry, or any other form of literature. We are not disinclined to accept those who just want a creative outlet, either. Join and go to the forums to ask for help on settings, characters, plots, or just critiquing a finished work or work-in-progress to try and bring it to its fullest potential.

Teka123 was kind enough to pay for this blog in August, but, as it is largely just an alternate key, I was letting it go to waste. I decided to turn it into this when Xooxer suggested that I create a forum for writers. My guild's forums are already terribly cluttered, so, a few days later, here I am. Anyone who has been wanting something like this can feel free to thank Xooxer, who is also our first member. If the guild gets popular enough, who knows. It may get its own key.

Also, I would not call myself a person good with designs, so if anyone has suggestions on making the layout and CSS better, chime in on the Queries & Reqests forum, and I'll see what I can do.

To bring this post to an awkard end, welcome to The Writer's Guild!
