That is it.
The controls are arrow keys to move (left/right to move, up to jump).
A for weak attack. (Missile)
B for strong attack. (Explosive Bazooka)
Space Bar for charge. (Over Run)
Q, W and E for other attacks. (Aerial Mine, Big Shot and MRL Platform)
Most of these abilities have some sort of cooldown, so you cannot spam them.
Anyway, what is it? It is a side view PVP game. Potentially.
It is still largely unfinished, but if it does get finished, you'll make a robot by selecting parts, and fight other players in an arena.
The idea is fairly simple, and the demo shows you what to expect from it.
What you cannot see however in that demo (but does exist) is the customization side of stuff. In the full game you'd pick parts for the robot, these are head, core, right arm, left arm, legs, booster, engine and armor. Each part has different stats and some have abilities (right/left arm are A/S in the game, Head is Q, core is W and E and booster is space bar).
The robot you can play as at the moment is an example of this. It is made up of parts from the model "Big Fire" (slow, tough but uses lots of explosive ranged attacks).
As you're making the robot you'll have to consider it's stats carefully as well as what weapons it has access to (if you click on the robot you can see it's stats).
There is not much else to the game really. You make a robot (or several), and fight it out to win.
It should work fine as it is, but any comments/suggestions? (Obviously graphics are nowhere near finished)
I'll probably need to test it online once I get that far as well, since uses an increased world.tick_lag which could cause some sort of lag.
Anyways, everything looked good. Only thing that got me was the movement system in which if you clicked Left or Right they would move that direction and never stop until hitting a wall, and I couldn't even press Left to stop my movement from going right. Also while moving there was no jumping. Not sure if it was intended that way.
