So, in the past week or so I've updated a fair lot in War of Heroes.

Other than obvious bug fixes and balancing changes, I've added 10 new classes, a new item or two, improved some of the graphics and optimized a bit of the coding.

The new classes are...

For Humanity

Blade Dancer - Failed samurai who is rather good at imitating a lawnmower (his motto is SPIN TO WIN).

Cryomancer - Manipulator of ice and a really cool dude.

Illusionist - Master of disguises and trickery (and trolling).

Swashbuckler - A master of blocking and countering attacks.

Warlord - Big boss. He can tell anyone to do anything, and they always listen.

For Legion

Blackguard - Immortal guy who refuses to stay dead even if he is killed.

Lich - Master of undead, also really great at annoying healers.

Naga - Poisonous snake guy who is good at poison and fart gas.

Vengeful Spirit - An angry ghost who turns his suffering into power.

Voidmancer - A demon from nothingness who is good at making it so you cannot go where you want.

Other than possible bug fixes, this version of the game is finished for now. The total class count is now 40.

As for what I do next. There is 3 choices.
The first is I sit around for a few months and do nothing at all.

The second is a single player RPG. It'd be console (JRPG) style, and have focus on exploration as well as doom and gloom and less on combat (similar to how Romancing Saga works, combat would speed the game up, and if you fought too much, you'd miss key events and find yourself at the end of the game).
You'd play as some sort of immortal or god in a dying world, and be forced to watch as everyone struggles and suffers as the end is coming, but be unable to do anything.
It'd probably have graphics that look like this...

The third is an ambient exploration platformer. I tried making something like this like 8 years ago with Game Maker, but never finished it. It wouldn't have any particular goal, it'd just be a huge world to explore.
It'd probably look something like this http://files.byondhome.com/TheMagicMan/gamen.jpg
Now that there is a library that makes this possible and easy to do in BYOND, I may give it a shot.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet, maybe one, or all at some point.
Cool dood :c
Why not a fourth option?...more maps and game modes for WoHR

There is no real reason to add new game modes. The games mode is as intended, and adding or changing modes would mess up a lot of the balance in the game.

As for new maps. They can be added, but it is not as trivial as you make it out to be. Adding a new map requires a lot of work, and everything has to be balanced.
Not only does it need to be made fair for both teams, but it needs to be made fair for every class in the game. Depending on small things, some classes could become very powerful, or very weak.
An example is Lich, he has a very powerful ability (anyone who stands in it long enough will die, no exceptions). But it's area of effect is fairly small, so it's not that powerful when actually used. If however, the map was smaller, and players had to stick closer together, this ability would become a lot stronger. Players would be forced to stand in the area, or wait until the spell ends. So they have the choice, die or wait for a full 20 seconds before they can do anything.

A lot of small things like this can greatly skew the balance in the game. So when a new map is added everything has to be accounted for. Which is why it takes a lot of time to actually add them.
The platformer looks promising. You have a range of different projects.. Since you are starting a new RPG, what will be happening to Generiquest? Are you still working on that?

As for WoHR.. I've been on BYOND for a long time it' definitely one of the most promising action/strategy game. You completely reinvented the way abilities are used making them a lot more interactive and dynamic. So I'm hoping that you continue to work on this game as well.
Generiquest is pretty much on hold for the time being. I don't know if/when I'll work on it some more.

But I'm not decided on what to do next. Maybe I will work on it some more, or maybe it'll be one of the above.

As for War of Heroes. I'll still continue working on it, but before I start adding more stuff, I want to get it bug free, balanced and polished.
I'm having a difficult time doing this at the moment due to lack of a host and people being unable to properly play the game.
Yeah the lack of a host is hurting the game.. When Crash was hosting, the game easily topped 20 players. I even made a post on the Byond forums to look for an host. Maybe you can bump it to see if it will grab attention?

I haven't realised till today that you are using new selfmade graphics in WoH and also I didn't know the game has changed that much ;0 :D You should totally add HUB icon and banner to War of Hereos so people will be able to advertise it more ;) also: posting screenshots in img tags is better :P
