My request this time is a simple one, and I feel would be a beneficial one for any development blog out there... "Member Tweets".

This could easily be a box on the member's main page separate from actual blog posts, and possibly be a members-only feature. Personally I'd find this very useful, especially on development blogs.

Secondly I'd like to draw your attention to this post regarding the layout of the games page and the overall presentation of BYOND to outsiders. In short, it's currently very cluttered and unappealing. My suggestion is that the games page should be reworked to follow more of a trend set by popular online gaming communities. Your main page at http://www.byond.com could also use a bit of work, maybe even do away with it and introduce people with a redesigned games page.

Just some honest suggestions, hope you consider!

This seems like there was a base topic, but I didn't find it: http://www.byond.com/developer/forum/?id=713259
lol @ calling the BYOND site cluttered, then posting a link to miniclip... http://www.kongregate.com/
Once you actually make it to the list of games on BYOND I think its quite nicely layed out: standardized, easily readable, and visually separated; the problem is getting there to begin with (and pretty much everything else)
EDIT: For some reason your link to that post was directed to the comments?

Yeah I suppose I got a little off focus when I was writing the post...

My request is that of a form of development blog "tweets", which would be the limit of around 150 characters per update and would be separated from the blog posts. Kinda like how the comments on the side of the page work now, but instead positioned in the center and only allowed by the blog managers.

As for the cluttered comment, I wasn't talking in forms of actual content but rather the look and feel of the page. Sure miniclip has alot going on for it's main page, but with everything presented it's still very easily accessible. Each game on the games page also takes up way too much of the page's space.
Instead of implementing BYOND's own tweets, hows about allowing us to embed twitter into our custom content boxes, or anywhere on our page similar to how we can already do this with youtube. I feel it'd be very helpful for development blogs.

Thought that was more or less the goal to begin with o.O
