They are allowed, however, it's not a waste of time to many any game you really want to make. Just because a certain group of people say its a bad idea just because it will be a bleach game doesn't mean it is one. Although if you can't code nor icon and your game is going to be crap code and graphic wise. Then I consider that a waste of time.
