How about you stop being a hypocrite. Don't make a blog about people having their own opinions and telling people to ignore your piece of shit rip if they don't like it, especially after you made a post on someone's negative review of that piece of shit B:SoC rip you own claiming you're a BYOND Staff Member and you're going to ban anyone that makes a review you disagree with concerning the bullshit you call a game.

And if you were so concerned about people having their own opinions, you wouldn't have blocked comments from that hypocritical blog you made about it.

Naruto Hubs

Seriously, what's with 90% (probably higher than that) of the Naruto hubs on BYOND being nothing more than rank lists and image galleries? And what loser started this dumb trend that every Naruto game/rip owner follows?

You choose ten Naruto games and look at their hubs. Chances are, at least nine of them have about 20 different images taken from Google to symbolize each race and clan in the game and a long, pointless list of all of the Kages and organization leaders.

And is there a point to it all? No. It just goes to show the lack of originality in this community.

Alihafezi: the Hypocrite

Alihafezi and I had a bit of a disagreement over Windows Live Messenger (MSN Messenger) concerning rips and non-rips. It was rather hypocritical of him considering his previous blog post:

Game names

I've noticed that alot of development teams on BYOND tend to name their games after their team. Does anyone besides me wonder why? Three examples of this I can think of off the top of my head are:

After-Life Productions
- Yu Yu Hakusho: After-Life
- Bleach: After-Life

Cybork (I don't know if he has a production team)
- Naruto Lost Shinobi
- Bleach Lost Soul
- Dragon Ball Z Lost Saiyans

Evolution Gaming
- Naruto Evolution
- Starwars Evolution
- Avatar Evolution

Now, I'm not saying this is a bad thing. I'm just curious as to why teams tend to name every game the same, whether or not it makes sense with the overall theme. This isn't any sort of flamebait or anything, so I ask that people don't come here to start arguments and insult each other. I'll delete any post I deem offensive or spam.

I've decided I'm going to revamp the guild. It's been more or less inactive for quite some time and I've decided to not really work on it until I can get a seperate membership for it (which I'm currently trying to do).

For the time being, I've decided that if and when I can get a seperate membership for the guild, I'm going to completely revamp it. The first thing I'll do is get a new CSS for it; preferably more anime-appropriate. Afterwards, I'll start adding games to the guild. But there will be guidelines to having games added to it other than simply being original. Quite a few games have been added and only about 4 of them are actually active which is a bit of a pain in the ass. While the others may be incomplete and/or still being worked on, there's no guarantee many of them will ever be completed and may just end up being dead hubs on BYOND, and I'd rather not have dead, useless hubs in the guild because the point of this guild is to display original games.

So here are the guidelines (which I will also post on the guild page if/when I have a membership for it) for a game to be approved IF it's incomplete:

- Has at least 5 screenshots as evidence that the game is making progress

- Has at least enough programming and artwork to be ready for closed testing

- Project leader(s) can provide progress reports and information on how close the game is getting to completion

Without those three fairly reasonable guidelines being fulfilled, I won't be adding any incomplete games to the guild. My reason for this is because games tend to get over-hyped by people who get the idea to make a game and they end up remaining nothing more than ideas. It seems almost rare that anyone actually completes a game from start to finish. I'd like to prevent the guild from being overrun with hubs like this.
