And thus far, I've seen weeks of constant rain, heavy wind storms that took out four of the trees in my front yard, one hitting a power line and causing the guys across the road to lose their power for twenty-four hours (leaving our power perfectly intact, hehehe) and one tree landing right across our driveway (which was promptly moved).
The rain has been ever constant. So much so that the paddock down the bottom of my street is completely flooded, and has in fact now become part of a small creek that runs near it. The water is high enough in that creek to almost rise above the train bridge and walk path that's near there and the poor Koala's have done nothing but try (very noisily) to get laid through this entire ordeal. The poor cows have been pushed into the top corner of their paddock, as everything else is essentially a wetland.
There was a brief gap in the whether a few days ago, which was a pleasantly sunny 16 degrees Celsius. Then the rain came back with a vengeance. I haven't checked out the
What's worse is, my cat loves the rain. He adores it. If it's raining, he wants to go out and play/hunt. So he always comes back in at absurd hours of the morning absolutely soaked in water. He also expects you to grab a towel and dry him. We spoil this cat.
I also finished Moon Phase and Black Blood Brothers. More on those later.
