Divine Mirrors
Part 2 – One With Time
The waiter walked towards another man in the café, “I’m sure by now you’ve seen them. If we can hand them over to Lucifer, we’ll be greatly awarded in the other world. Don’t you agree, Kairen?” Kairen turned his head towards his comrade Syasu, and then focused towards where Traiken and Katan were talking. Kairen was an Aryan while in human form. He was currently wearing a unique style of clothing consisting of a blood red long coat, a devilish black shirt and a rare pair of trousers – pale grey with graffiti all over.
“It seems so perfect…although we can’t afford to underestimate them at all. Traiken is said to be a son of both Time and Magic. That is a combination to be truly feared. Katan’s also a former slave of Lucifer himself and spent 2 years fighting by his side. I guess we can give it a try – if all fails; we’ll report this to Lucifer. Otherwise, we can kill those bastards now.” Kairen stood up and walked towards the table where Katan and Traiken were located at, followed by Syasu. Each of them held concealed daggers within their hands.
“Traiken, if what you say is true, then now would be a perfect chance to investigate deeper into Lucifer’s sourc… – shit! Traiken, it seems we’re not alone in this discussion anymore.” Katan turned his attention to the strangers advancing towards them nearby, “Would you like to join us outside, you two?” Kairen asked. Both Traiken and Katan moved outside without mentioning a word between the two.
Syasu began to speak as they stepped outside, a dagger in her left hand, “Come with us, both of you. Come with us through the portal to the other world and surrender yourselves to Lucifer…or feel our wraith.” “Shit! I left everything except my dagger in my cost at home…damn, this is bad!” Traiken thought to himself. He looked at Katan and nodded. Katan returned the nod, both of them withdrawing their daggers for battle. “Seems we have no choice, eh Katan?” “Seems not Traiken, these guys won’t leave us so easily.”
After once again exchanging nods, Traiken and Katan began to run to the outer parts of the cities, followed directly by Syasu and Kairen. “Get back here, bastards!” Kairen shouted viciously as the surroundings began changing, observers watching in fear as the weapons held in their hands clearly flashed into their eyes. As they reached a park nearby, Traiken and Katan stopped, a red glow infusing itself into Traiken’s dagger. Traiken gave Katan a signal, “Let’s do this, Katan.” Katan returned the signal and motioned his body around. As the other 2 stopped behind them both, Traiken spun round, unleashing a slash of fire from his burning dagger straight towards Syasu and Kairen, followed by Katan.
The fire slash scratched it’s way across the ground – missing Syasu and Kairen, giving Syasu the opportunity to drive straight towards Traiken, not realising Katan’s movement towards Kairen. As their blades hit sparks fly in every direction, it became clear there was a deadly power struggle between both Katan and Kairen. As time passed and the dust settled, Kairen’s high class dagger dressed in red blood stains could visibly be seen to overpower Katan, sparking excitement in his face. “It’s been a while since I’ve faced such an opponent, it seems you give me no chance but to finish this quickly and mercilessly.” As Katan finished, his rusty dagger began to burn with a dark power, forcing a growing black aura to absorb the light surrounding his blade. All Kairen could do was stare in confusion and horror as he began to fall into the depths of the black aura.
“I didn’t come prepared for a fight…I’ll have to do it with one hit of this dagger!” Traiken thought to himself as he watched Syasu’s movement. As she got near, a magical glow began to morph itself into the newly unsheathed sword on her right hand as her dagger suddenly dissipated into the air. Almost as if by chance, the clouds seemed to open, a deadly lightning bolt striking it’s way straight through the air into the blade held by Syasu, infusing itself within it – declaring it’s fatality. “You’ll feel pain for not respecting Lucifer!” At an incredible rate, her speed began to increase tenfold; there was no way for Traiken to avoid the attack. She held up her enormous sword and slashed it straight through Traiken with unbelievable power... Traiken found himself screaming in a pool of blood, darkness closing in on him.
