These icons are open to the public. It'd be some work to wrap them all up into a gif, so I'll just release them in the original packaging.

EDIT. These are not pokemon, but they do resemble them. I decided to go ahead and at least submit them to Byond so if developers are in need of some art, they could at least have something to start with.

Details if you wish to know:

The creator of Fantasie loved the artwork, but changed his mind on paying me. I felt that I probably shouldn't, but since the artwork was created by someone else and his project is more than likely finished, I'd allow the community to use them in their projects. (If the submission is approved..)

I didn't have a way to receive the money from my employer so I shot the artwork as soon as I finished, when I got a way of receiving the money online he decided to have a hard life. It was my fault for foolishly doing business, better $42 dollars than $42+ right?
They look like pokemon. o.O
Yeah, it was originally going to be catch 'em all type of game, but the owner switched it over to a RPG and decided to use the same artwork anyway, then I got in on the project and iconed.
k POKEMON SUCKS!
To clear up any misunderstandings, these are not pokemon.
They are. y u lie?
It refuses to let me download said package D:
Wow, these are really good sprites. They're quite clearly Pokemon-inspired, but you managed to keep them different enough to avoid any copyright infringement.

It's a shame you got ripped off, this is some quality work.
Actually, Fantasie paid for about $300 worth of artwork from other people. This post seems to present him like some kind of con artist; he's really not, he probably just didn't have the money to pay you.
Are those Pokemon?
Shit, Fantasie is ruined.
So you gave up these icons cause some guy didn't pay you? Judging by how it looked I can only assume that's the case. I don't know why you made this such a big deal when you made these icons and yet they're going to go a waste... Care to give me a good reason? I expect it to be a "good" real reason!

Uh...isn't that the point of this post? Releasing the icons publicly so someone can get some use out of them so they don't go to waste?

That's the problem, I asked him about that sort of thing multiple times and presented myself to be reasonable and understanding, I wouldn't have had a problem had he actually said to me, "I don't have the money currently, perhaps we can work a small payment over time or we can release the game and you can can receive some of the profits." But he disappears for a time (didn't even mention it was internet related) and apologizes.

Perhaps it could've been he was to shamed to bring up the fact, but if he just "talked" to me instead of being silent and logging out when I logged in, then all of this could have been "easily" worked out. (I wanted to see Fantasie and the guy seemed to be nice and all so that would have made things slide better, but the complete silence and logging was pretty cut throat. :( )
These icons are beautiful. If you are looking for more work, I would be happy to provide you with some. =]
mind sending a sendspace link, it refuses to let me download them via the BYOND Hub.
Here you go.
Thank you =3
