Just a heads up for the open test of my original Naruto game entitled "Naruto Action RPG" which will be having an open test sometime this week!

Well I am taking a break from BYOND until summer vacation, too much stress working on a game and trying to do projects and such. I also have final exams to worry about, so anyone who thinks logically would realize that school and my future is more important than gaming. I will still be participating on the RP forum on NHC(Naruto Hurricane Chronicles)/for those of you who are part of it.
Anyways, until I return(If I return D=) I joke, I joke. Well until I return, I hope you all have fun on BYOND and in your daily lives. See you in the summer!

Well let me get straight ot hte point and explain how the training system works:

Right now, I have put in two types of training.

The first is basic "Train" verb. When you click it, the output will generate a message of either: "Punch Left" or "Punch Right". When you do one of these correctly, you will be given a random amount of skill points from 10-50. Once you want to level up your skills, you simply press the "Use Skill Points" verb, and you will be asked how many skill points you would like to use, and then on which stat you would like to use them. The stats are as follows:
Level,HP,Chakra,Strength,Defence,Speed,and Intelligence.

The next form of training is the usual, "Water Walk". You basically walk on water, and you get a random number between 10-25 that will be added on to your skill points. You use the skill points in the same manner as you would with the regular way of training.

How do you get Jutsus you ask? Well simply,when you have enough of a given stat(s), an output will be generated saying, "You have learned (insert jutsu here). The jutsus you acquire will vary depending on what element you posses, and what shinobi clan you belong to.

As promised, I finally am going to post a screen shot of the game. The map is just a test map, nothing fancy, just a house and a show of some of the turfs I have put in, well, here it is:

Well all games need a battle system, but before they can have a battle system, they need a training system. Today my good friend helped me A LOT with the coding of the training system, and when I looked at it, it was pretty easy to do myself.

The point is, the training system is pretty much complete, just putting in the "Use Skill Points" procedure. Once that is done, we can begin the coding of the battle system.

I know my game is RP, but I have been talking to a lot of BYOND gamers, and they all say, the whole "Pure RP" thing, is kind of boring, which is why my game is called ACTION RPG.

Meaning the battle system will be a mix of Role Play, and actual fighting, making it give you, the players, the full game experience.

I will be back with another post as soon as the training system is complete, once we get to that stage, I will make a post with a screen shot, and I will give more information on the battle and training system.

Sorry for anyone who was anticipating an alpha release in the month of April, but I was busy with school. Had a lot of homework,tests,assignments, etc. Anyways, May I am going to be doing projects for the whole month, but I can prioritize my time to give more time to the game, so expect an alpha release during May or early June.
