Linux dream daemon problem in Linux Talk

I can't seem to get dreamdaemon working.
I downloaded everything, and installed it
but when I use the DreamDaemon command
it says it doesn't exist.

My operating system for this is Ubuntu.

I was following Gaku's linux post.
I think I did sudo make install.

If you did then

DreamDaemon -version

Should display the installed BYOND's version

Are you using 64-bit Ubuntu or 32-bit? If the former, you'll need to install I believe it's ia32-libs in order to run DreamDaemon, which is a 32-bit executable.

His problem is with DreamDaemon saying it doesn't exist, apparently.
32 bit libraries won't help with that.

Is the exact error you get when you're missing 32-bit libs on a 64-bit OS. Considering the lack of detail in the original post, you can't really assume what he meant any more than I can so we're both pretty equally wrong.
