It's nice to see when people post videos about the progress of their game, but on the other hand, it also becomes a bit abrasive when the video doesn't even exceed a length of one minute. If you're going to post a video about your game where you are only moving about 10 steps then you might as well just take a screen-shot then elaborate on what you are doing. Absurdly it is just as pointless as not posting a video at all, really. Are these videos being posted just to potentially exasperate people? Maybe not, but I wrote three pointers that may help some of you.

  • If your video is only a few seconds, a well-written paragraph should elaborate on what you are doing.

  • ----
  • Be descriptive in your posts; sometimes it comes to the point where I see comments posted by people asking "What is going on?", or "What is this suppose to be about?", you need to present information that is at least logical to a twelve year old, and even at that age you should be able to comprehend logically.
  • ----
  • For Christ sake, they are called "development" or "game-play" videos for a reason, progress about the game is imperative. That being said, you should only post videos about your game when you have made an ample amount of progress.

I dunno, but I like the cut of his jib.
Urias is just Magnum.
Small thing EG, you could change his name in the current staff box so it fits his new alias. (:
What would happen if they don't follow what you said?
Ranting about the community is my job. Screw off whoever you are.

It's not meant to be mandatory so it wouldn't really matter what they do.

They will almost certainly not finish the project. If people who have made hardly any progress on a game think they're in a position to sit back and show the community what they've made, they have no idea how much work it'd actually take to make a game.
