Game Description:

This is an action/strategy game, where you take the fate of mankind into your own hands. Death is coming and it's coming literally. Grab up to 7 friends and command humanity to its survival. Defend the last surviving humans by covering the only open access point: Wyllshire Road.

Version 0.7 (Sometime November)
- Brand new player pixel art.
- New weapons, armor, useful items.
- Extended stage 1, with 4 parts to it.
- Enemies revamped for the story, per stage.
- Changes to the interface.
- Achievements are enabled.
- Various code/graphical fixes.

Version 0.6 (11/11/10)
-Bugs fixed
-Skin rearranged for efficiency/ease
-New bugs may arise with the new skin. Also the HP bars for units are disabled as the other HP bar shows on top of the unit in the selection. This may be replaced with just a bigger grid of units or something similar later.

Notes:

The game was made in 3 days, thus far, and so it probably has lots of nice bugs. Things are likely to change, such as weapons or enemies may be tweaked, things will change in order to be balanced out but in order to find that balance it will need to be tested thoroughly.

You made me sit down and think... For nothing.... Do you know how much it pains me to think!? >.>!
All the health bars make the screen look cluttered and unappealing.
They look like energy beams from DBZ or something.
I suggest only showing health bars when health for a unit is actually taken or added.

Sorry for being harsh but hey, criticism is never gentle.

HP bars represent what color the unit belongs to as well. So, we'd have to figure out a way around it. Other than that, what were your thoughts?
Other than that, the style of the graphics fit together very well and the game has a nice, elegant and crisp look to it.

Thats great to hear. I didn't think people would stumble upon Wyllshire Road randomly. Thats cool though. After this month, I want to implement the new base, and touch up some of the graphics. Not sure if VcentG will be free to program them in, but we shall see. Perhaps squeeze in the completed stages, and another boss? Hmm.
Although, I would like to see some updates to the graphics used for the people shooting at the zombies. They look quite at contrast to the surroundings and the zombies.

We're still going to update, just trying to finish the GSD project for this month D:

I don't think we have any hosting organized. Basically anyone can host and gather people. I tend to stop by when I see a server up.

Hardcore mode: Fight 1 constant wave of enemies with bosses coming the entire time.

Survival Mode: Start with X amount of money and try to complete the game with it.

Time Mode: A scrolling-map mode, where you must kill off enemies/bosses before the city explodes! The map will not scroll while there're enemies on-screen.

Bosses: We've got skeletons, we've got demonic dogs... WE NEED MORE! (Stay in theme of course) What else is in the underworld? Lost souls, the devil himself, maybe even dive into greek mythology. A water level with the Leviathan, or Medusa who turns your guys to stone linearly (a real keep it movin style boss XD)

MORE STAGES! To accompany these bosses, Just imagine being on a bridge, and a freaking giant leviathan comes out of the water on either side, spouting water and clawing away at your poor soldiers.

More Units! All these things require more units! Maybe even ones that help in specific situations. Chainsaw for zombies, Silver bullets for werewolves, harpoons for killer fish. Bonus damage on certain monsters but lowered damage on others. Adds more UMPH to the game :D

I'm already starting on some new weapons to add to the mix. As well as another level for the update, when it happens.
