The yellow is still a little bad on the eyes; maybe increase the opacity a little more? Otherwise, it looks pretty nice.

Maybe something like #ffaa33?
For the textbox, I would say both. The white doesn't really fit with the rest of the page, and if you change that, you'll probably need a new text color.

Any suggestions to what color and What did you mean with Style the Comment textbox, The text style or the colors of it?

-Change the purple links to another color. They look cool, but are impossible to read.
