I installed this in VMWare and it was running without Aero, but the computer I used only has a 2.0ghz amd athlon 64 and 1gb of ram was set for the VM.
I have to say I was impressed with the performance Microsoft is moving in the right direction. I also liked the fact that it didn't have all those run as admin prompts like current vista has.

Right now 20% of my CPU is in use, And thats because of my DreamSeekers (got 2 open) and Firefox...

Weird, I would expect the exact opposite with a new OS that no developers are developing drivers for.

Sounds good so far, but it's probably very buggy. I certainly wouldn't want to use it; losing all my files would suck!
