Poll: Would you use Windows 7 when it comes out?

Just wondering who would use Windows 7 I'll use it when the beta comes out Since its Way faster then Vista, I've had the Pre-Beta and I loved it.

But I didn't have a serial code so after 30 days It wouldn't work any more, Too bad...

But I'm keeping an eye on Microsoft's Windows 7 page to see when they throw it on-line, Here in The Netherlands they said it would be tomorrow but I don't trust the news here they have it wrong a lot...

I might, depends on the price and how much money I have at the time. I have absolutely no driver issues with my computer, nor does speed bother me (though it is a little slow booting up), but Windows 7 seems like a nice improvement to Vista.

Well, I have tested it on my laptop, 1.7 Ghz, 2 GB memory came with Vista, It took me 5 minutes to only boot up to the login screen Even after I deleted all the stuff that came on it. So I installed Windows XP.
Had a few install problems that was because of the Sata2 hard drive I had to change a setting in the BIOS.

After about 2 months later I found Windows 7 pre-beta on a torrent site so I Installed that, It took me about 30 minutes to install it After the install was done It was just a little bit slower then Windows XP

I have difficulty believing Windows 7 is faster than Vista, though if it is, great. It'd mean they dumped a lot of baggage to get it so much faster. I suspect it will be an improvement on many levels because Vista is so intrinsically bad, but my understanding of Win7 is that it's basically Vista with less fail. How much less fail is an unknown, and whether it's enough less to actually make it a worthy upgrade from XP, that's an even bigger question.

However, I've always been of the opinion that early adopters of Microsoft OSes are either hardcore beta testers who are willing to put up with grief, or suckers. For anyone else, it's a general rule of thumb to never use a new Microsoft OS until at least the first service pack has come out. So I think you're mising a likely response: "Not yet, but I'll use it once it matures if it turns out to be any good."
