You are asked to kill someone and are given diplomatic immunity. You are given a suit that makes you impervious to harm. You have a choice, sneak up behind them with a knife, or run head on at them waving like a mad man with an RPG, which would you go for?


Personally, an RPG would be my choice...as much as I do love to sneak about in the shadows, I can't pass up the chance to fire an RPG at something close range and fly across the sky unharmed xP

Ok, next in my series of Vs. questions: Invisibility or Laser Eyes. You have the choice, being able to make yourself invisible/visible again, or being able to shoot lasers out of your eyes that practically obliterates anything. You choose.

If you could be something that swims, or something that flies, which would you be?

Out of boredom, I decided to flick through the DM Guide, practically a bible to the average humble BYOND programmer, to find a few basic procs missing.


I was thinking of making a lib full of handy procs that can be used in day to day programming, so far, i have strreplace (always handy), isatom, and the ability of making stacks.

I know I'm missing a few, so some suggestions wouldn't go a miss :P

Ok, while coding an Artificial Intelligence system for Duel Monsters Unlimited I came up with a good idea.



Coding Marketplace. Basically, a game JUST for programmers, where they can share code in a chatting environment, rather than post post post post post.

Messages can be sent to other players, or groups of players containing code which has correctly highlighted syntax and correct spacing. If made popular at all, maybe add scheduled coding tutorials. This idea has many possibilities.

Using my knowledge of PHP, I can tie the game into the Developer How-To forum, allowing you to search through it within the game, reply to any of your posts etc.

This would end up more then just a Coding Exchange, but a Main Hub for all programmers.


So, what do you guys think, good concept? Or waste of time?
