So, I switched to Windows now. No longer on Linux as my main OS. I previously used "Shutter" for linux to take pics of my screen and immediately upload them to various sites of my choosing. It gave me all the links, direct, thumbnail, delete, etc. It had the ability to choose a selected area, a window, or the entire screen. It could also black out private information. Anybody know of a Screen Capture Software that can do amazing things like this?
For Pictures, I recommend puu.sh, which you can download at www.puu.sh. It's more of a click-and-drag thing, but it works. You can take take a pic of a specific window or your entire desktop, or a specific area of the screen, and you can also upload whatever's on your clipboard (even if it's a video, although I'm not sure if files that aren't pictures or videos work). Hope I helped.

That's what I used to use. I don't know if he clicked it, but in the top right corner is the button, "Export." You can choose to send it to imgur, puush, and other places. No need to sign up for an account either. It does it as a guest on all of the sharing sites.
After a while of searching, I found greenshot. I think it does quite a bit of what you asked, bar uploading to puush (It does upload to imgur and dropbox, however). I downloaded it from cnet getgreenshot.org.. Not sure if it's perfect, but it's a start.

No problem, always glad to help :)
