I now understand why 'Merica is disliked. It's ran by fools. Wouldn't you agree after reading this chat? The link that was removed was a link to some DDoS logs recently. It occurred for 30 minutes.

[9:29:20 PM] Xirre: Really tired of these DDoS attacks.
[9:29:53 PM] Xirre: <link removed>
[9:45:20 PM] Daniel Wood - A.T.H.K: On your home networjk?
[9:46:19 PM] Daniel Wood - A.T.H.K: All different IP's too
[9:46:27 PM] Daniel Wood - A.T.H.K: Try using IPTables to block China
[9:46:43 PM] Xirre: Honestly, it's attacking my router.
[9:46:52 PM] Xirre: So blocking it via computer wouldn't be effective.
[9:47:14 PM] Xirre: I contacted my ISP for 30 mins. They ended up telling me, "We can't help you."
[9:47:17 PM] Xirre: So, I call 911.
[9:47:27 PM] Daniel Wood - A.T.H.K: Well it is illegal
[9:47:30 PM] Daniel Wood - A.T.H.K: In the US
[9:47:36 PM] Xirre: They tell me, "We don't handle non emergencies. Call this number"
[9:47:42 PM] Xirre: I call that number for non emergency.
[9:48:02 PM] Daniel Wood - A.T.H.K: Probably shouldn't of called 911 mate
[9:48:05 PM] Xirre: "We don't handle that stuff. Let me redirect you to our network department."
[9:48:28 PM] Daniel Wood - A.T.H.K: Heh ..
[9:48:28 PM] Xirre: "We don't handle things like that. You need to file a report to the FBI."
[9:48:38 PM] Xirre: Me: "Can you give me the number for the FBI?"
[9:48:39 PM] Daniel Wood - A.T.H.K: Good luck with that
[9:49:19 PM] Xirre: "They don't have a number. You have to report it online. Would you like me to give you the website?"

Me: "No, thank you. I'll just look it up..."

Her: "Oh. Okay. *hangs up*"
[9:49:30 PM] Xirre: Honestly, they're fucking annoying.
[9:49:37 PM] Xirre: I can see why everyone hates 'Merica.
[9:49:44 PM] Daniel Wood - A.T.H.K: Haha
[9:49:49 PM] Xirre: Nothing but a bunch of fucking idiots running it.
[9:50:14 PM] Xirre: Although we operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, our normal “walk-in” business hours are from 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you need to speak to a FBI representative at any time other than during normal business hours, please telephone our office at (813) 253-1000.

[9:50:19 PM] Xirre: FOR THE LOVE OF GOD
[9:50:30 PM] Xirre: All I do is google, "FBI Number."
[9:50:36 PM] Xirre: Jesus christ..
[9:50:38 PM] Daniel Wood - A.T.H.K: lol

[9:50:57 PM] Xirre: I honestly want to reach through the phone and slap that woman.
[9:51:02 PM] Xirre: Especially for her nasty attitude.
[9:51:03 PM] Daniel Wood - A.T.H.K: HAhahaha
[9:51:46 PM] Daniel Wood - A.T.H.K: Is it still going?
[9:51:49 PM] Xirre: This is the very reason why most DDoS/DoS attacks don't get reported. And exactly why these DDoS services pile up and then eventually start attacking National services.
[9:51:54 PM] Xirre: Is what still going?
[9:51:56 PM] Xirre: The attack?
[9:52:02 PM] Daniel Wood - A.T.H.K: Yea
[9:52:15 PM] Xirre: it lasted 30 minutes and ended as soon as the customer service redirected me to a representative.
[9:52:21 PM] Xirre: I was waiting 30 mins for them to redirect me.
[9:52:26 PM] Xirre: My stream was down for 30 minutes.
[9:52:30 PM] Xirre: Once again. 'Merica.
[9:52:44 PM] Xirre: I'm going to just play some Payday 2 and continue my stream...
[9:52:49 PM] Xirre: This is disappointing.
Lmfao!
I was in a Skype prank to the FBI, they're nice people.

Honestly, I'm beyond frustrated and angered. I've never experienced such bad service in a row like this. And I'm not your typical angry customer or caller. Either today was a very bad day... Or America is just plain f*'d up. I'll be laughing when everything goes down from more DDoS attacks.

You mean you pranked the FBI through Skype? And.. they took it well?
What exactly was being DDOS'd and what exactly do you want the FBI to do about it?

Even if they could identify the culprits's location they'd have to coordinate an international effort or at least a national one.
I'm all for supporting justice in internet crimes.

The look on those 14 year old's faces when a FBI Agents shows up at their door.

Perhaps you should ask that question to the people who redirected Xirre to the FBI..

I'm sure Xirre can give you the phone numbers.
I, for one, welcome our NSA and FBI overlords.

Oh god, did you record it?
im not sure 911 and police will come out to fix your ddos problems. even if they do happen to come out they'll just file a report and you'll never have anything done beyond that.

even major game developers like riot have issues keeping their servers up whenever someone decides to take it down so you can imagine how much trouble a regular guy would have if he was being targeted. also authorities seem to get involved quicker if it is a large service being attacked.

steam, for example. if that got ddosed then there'd be some legitimate investigations. but if joe down the block calls 911 and says he just got ddosed i dont think too many people are going to care.

True, even though it is illegal in your country any many other countries.

It seems to hold a fairly good sentence rate too.

Looking at the IP's Xirre supplied, the attacker had to of used a botnet, this could've been completely random or not. We will never know.
I guess I'll just have to do things the hard way. Take them out one by one myself. I've already done this to a DoS user. I had them lose their services. They completely cut them off after I reported it to the respective website. The thing is, some of those IPs can't be tracked to a website. But, that doesn't matter. One or two losses for them is enough to keep me happy. I'll let them keep wasting money as I take out their bots by contacting indvidual companies.
