Hey all,

A few of you may recognize my name from a LONG time ago. I can't believe it's already been 10 years since I first joined BYOND.

Quite a few years ago I quit and moved on to other things in life, but now that I'm settled all in I've stumbled across BYOND again.

Anyways, it appears that the Paint host files weren't available on the main hub page for quite some time. I was able to get a hold of those and have since put them back up. I'm also hosting a server (which you can all come join and play, right now!).

Anyway, I wish I had the source files still, but it looks like the new interface system and all the great features of BYOND 4.0 and above since I've left would make well for a re-create, anyway.

So a few things in the game don't work, but it's still a pretty fun game!

Come on by and check it out.

You can see the hub here: http://www.byond.com/games/XxDohxX/Paint
Welcome back!
Very nice to see you again XxDohxX. :D

Yeah, I thought I noticed your key recently while looking over the pager. Could say a lot has changed since your disappearance. Might be worth building a new version of Paint that will perform better than ever before. ;D

And since your disappearance, I have released some new projects. Even a nice library (which was developed overtime from prototypes to one released game and eventually the library itself). Goes by SByIo Library which is a library that utilizes single icon state Text Objects thanks to native icon size support as well as onscreen input. V3 of it is now open-sourced on GitHub (though I need to still fix a lot of things due to v500 and later).

You can officially say that efficient onscreen input is now feasible. You might even remember my earlier attempts at onscreen input (from 2006) being less feasible due to limitations at the time. And of course, we have maptext now which should be able to utilize another form of onscreen input.
