82% (14)Isn't scary at all. The thing that irks me though, is they gave the theatrical version a retarded ending. The ending in the original copy from 2007 is actually more believable.
It's funny because people try to play it off like what happened in the movie is real and that they were real people. It even says at the end that it isn't real, that any similarities to anyone living or dead is pure coincidence.
It kind of irks me that Spielberg had to holly-jizz on the ending of the movie.
Hopefully the DVD will include both endings. I know the screener actually has the real ending from 2007, the one in the theaters is just plain retarded.

Yeah, I was highly disappointed in demanding that the movie be widely released as well as paying $15 to see it...I'm still mortified that it has been getting such good reviews and claims that it's so scary...Even more so, I can't even begin to comprehend how spineless someone would have to be in order to be even slightly frightened by that movie...Saw both endings also, still didn't make the movie worth watching..

I heard so much hype about this movie being the scariest movie ever, so I went to go see it last weekend. I came home and slept like a baby. In all honesty, The Strangers was scarier than Paranormal Activity.
