So. What? That's the question when it comes to Devotion. What? What is this game? Well, today I'm going to explain everything you've seen so far.

You have seen the abilities of three classes. These classes are:

Zeus: A tanker class. One of the three "Malevolent Gods" in the game.
Poseidon: A support class. One of the three "Defiant Gods" in the game.
Asclepius: A healer class. One of the three "Gracious Gods" in the game.

Each of these god classes gives the user access to 5 active abilities. You've seen many of these.

But wait... There are more abilities than that! That's where the Disciple Classes come in. Later in the game, after a player has the chance to play some and develop a style, the option to select one of two specialized classes arises. Each god has two different Disciple Classes. Let's look at the actives for the Asclepius skill tree.



Asclepius


I. Healing Prayer: The user will pray to the Gods asking for their favor, which will cause a light to shine over their target healing a percent of their health. Restores 70 HP plus 4% of the user's Wisdom. With each rank up the initial healing increases by 30 and the percent of wisdom increases by 4% at Skill Level five it increases by 7%.

II. Curing Prayers: The user will pray to the Gods asking for their favor, which will cause a green glow to shine over their target curing them of any status afflictions that ail them. [Cannot be leveled up]


III. Increasing Intellect: The user will release their energies into their target releasing their brains natural blocks which causes an increase in their targets Wisdom for a period of time. Grant the target additional Wisdom equal to 15% of the user's Wisdom for a period of time equal to the skills level * 50 seconds.


IV. Blessed Heart: The user will infuse their target with their energies, which soothes their muscles allowing them to take more strain than usual which increases their Strength for a period of time. Grant the target additional physical power equal to 15% of the user's Wisdom for a period of time equal to the skills level * 45 seconds.


V. Divine Judgment: The user will pray to the Gods for punishment on their foes, which causes a bolt of light to strike down upon their target dealing damage. Inflicts 75 damage plus 15% of their wisdom as extra damage. With each skill rank up the skills base damage increases by 45 and the % of the user's Wisdom used is increased by 2%.




So here we have a basic set of skills for a basic healer. But when the Disciple classes come in, things start to change. The Asclepius worshiper will get the choice to become a nasty damage-dealing mage as the Toxicology Disciple Class, or to become a devoted healer as the Medicinal Disciple Class. So they choose Toxicology. Let's look at what kind of actives become accessible to the player.



Toxicology


I. Toxic Pains: The user will release a toxic ball of toxic energies towards their target,which deals 89 damage to the target plus 25% and have a 10% chance to poison or stun them. With each skill rank up the skills base damage increases by 23 and the % of the user's Wisdom used is increased by 2% the chance to stun or poison the target also increases by 3%.


II. Pain Inducer: The user will release a wave of toxic energies towards their target that will increase damage of all attacks they take for fifteen seconds by 25%. With each skill level up the damage increase raises by 4% and the effect time extends by 4 seconds.



III. Blinding Fog: The user will release a cloud of toxic energies around themselves, any enemy that touches the cloud will become instantly blinded 5 seconds. With each rank increase the blinding time increases by 3 seconds.


IV. Bleeding Sores: The user will release a toxic ball of energy towards their target which will cause them to take 10% of the damage from each technique they use or attack they make for thirty seconds. With each skill level up the damage taken increases by 2% and the time duration of the effect increases by 3 seconds.


V. Precision Volition: The user will release a wave of toxic energies that will deals 176 damage to their target as well as lowering either their movement speed or strength by 15% for ten seconds. With each skill level up the base damage increases by 29 as well as the time duration of the effect by 5 seconds.






So there's a vague idea of what the skills that I've been displaying will be like. Each class will also get a hearty set of passives. Tomorrow I will talk about basic combat. Until then, here's my art dump!

getting better.i also do hope you compress those sprites because i know from experience they range from 1mb to 6mb per sprite
Nope each sprite is actually around 60kb or less amazingly if you dont believe me I can screenshot it for ya :D

Oh my is it o.o Well that is quite small compared to the 6mb Zane claimed they would be.
i try to keep them small because I know how annoying it is to render them in-game

ya that might cause it to go over 1mb with the kinda detail you put into sprites
