So I renewed it for 2 years. Hope it doesn't happen again!

Funny thing is I haven't used the BYOND member features in MONTHS. But the game I've been developing promotes BYOND membership, so it'd look kinda bad if the author wasn't one. :)

Anyway, hi and stuff. I'm a full time college student now (26, late starter, heh). So I don't spend too much time messing with BYOND. Still got awesome plans though.

Ohh yeah, new site layout rocks! Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go spend an hour learning how to use search engines... heh.

The Movies

I was watching this documentary on TV the other day and it really wanted me to play "The Movies". Pretty neat game, but I never got into it.

Anyways, after a couple hours of messing around I came up with this. It's just a stock script (auto generated by your script writers I guess), but it's the best one I've come across so far.

I finally saw 300

So, I noticed Comcast On-Demand had 300, so I finally decided to check it out.

The first 30 minutes of it (Well, except for the intro and Leonidas killing the messenger) were kinda bad. I can't stand movies with senseless/pointless erotica. But after those scenes were over... wow! :) Good movie. I can see why so many people like it.

I FINALLY got my LCD TV back (was lending it to some family who's TV broke). Now that I'm finally back to a wide screen format, I decided to poke around for some new wallpapers. After a few minutes poking around on Google and deviantart, I found an awesome site with a lot of great 16:9 and 16:10 wallpapers.

Here's the one I chose for now (although I saved about 30 of them and have them set as a slide show screen saver):

So I found this website that is basically for organizing what anime titles you've watched, are watching, plan to watch, etc.... After you enter and rate everything, you can look at your profile and it shows you other people's profiles that are similar to yours based off of your ratings.

I spent an hour or so pumping data into it, but I've seen a lot more, it's just that I don't really remember them all. :)

I can never sit down on my sofa without my cat crawling into my lap. So I decided I'd take a picture to see if the flash would scare him off. He just stood there and stared though (and later played with the strap on the camera).

In case anyone I know wonders where I am, I just thought I'd drop a note on here.

I'm going to visit some family in South Carolina for a week. Bringing my laptop to work on my MUD engine a bit, but will likely not be online at all. Theres just too much fun stuff to do down there.

Of course, I haven't really been online much the past month or so anyways, so no big change. :)

By the way, this picture... I'm going to be taking a canoe through there. It's pretty cool, you can go through it with all the alligators, they pretty much leave you alone. I wouldn't try to provoke them though.

My internet connection is all messed up. I have Comcast, but I've hardly been connected at all over the past couple days.

My digital cable has been out too, so I think it might be some kinda wiring problem, as the wires running from the utility pole to our house are not buried properly, and it's that time of year where we cut the grass and stuff... The odd thing is, it seems to work sporadically.

Either that or maybe it's my punishment for (illegally?) downloading 170+ episodes of Prince of Tennis and 30 of Death Note over the weekend.

Regardless, it's been pretty miserable for someone like me who is used to being connected 24/7. I'm running out of things to do... I might even have to finish reading Three Kingdoms.

What do other people do when they are offline?
