            <description>Firstly I'd like to take the time to introduce myself. My name is Rashad Rolle;most of you know me as &quot;Zane444&quot;. A moderately experienced indie game developer and pixel artist with about four(4) years of experience in both areas under my belt.The current programmer also has about four(4) years under his belt.&lt;br&gt;

Project Information: &lt;b&gt;&lt;u&gt;Spirit Age.&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;
Spirit Age takes place in a fictional colonial era where sea travel is the mainstay of transportation and magic shapes the world. The game features open ended game play which entails that there are no preset classes available, instead players are, for the most part, free to develop characters to their liking. The game is free to play but offers optional bonus content for a modest fee of 6$ per month(subject to change)&lt;br&gt;

Came home from work a few hours ago and was playing around with creating a new character.this is the outcome. playing around with dynamic and multiple light sources here. I named him &quot;Galeo&quot; he's using the fire technique to the left of this page,at least its weaker state.&lt;br&gt;

Experimenting a little with sprites with a little higher resolution. this one was done in a few hours just to feel out the basic character design.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
She's one of five major recurring characters in Spirit Age's story; she plays the head of one of the countries, specifically where wind is revered as a deity. A country of nomads who live off the land. the people of this country are especially known for the informality, dressing casually for every event, they are also generally outspoken and stern in their beliefs.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I'd love to give more information on her but i thought that i should save it for when I introduce the remaining four major figures.&lt;br&gt;

Her design itself is pretty much a work in progress.What I'm really trying to do is incorporate the main characteristics of her country into her design.&lt;br&gt;

Soul Drives Are supplementary abilities within Spirit Age that Grants users with temporary power boosts. Each Ability will function on a fixed time amount where the user returns to normal promptly after the allotted time expires.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
There are 3 stages to each Soul Drive. Each stage must be accessed via 'Skill Board' Which is very similar to the license board seen in Final Fantasy XII. With this Spirit Age will have no predetermined classes that players often have to choose from. Instead, Players will be able to freely develop their character around any skills or professions available.&lt;br&gt;

Leaving Wind and Water's designs in the air :|&lt;br&gt;

These transformations also grants new passive and active abilities.&lt;br&gt;

            <description>During the last week or so Ive been mainly working on environmental sprites for spirit age, which was pretty fun! Ive now reached the point where the &lt;u&gt;majority&lt;/u&gt; of designing the world is complete. With the exception of a few minor &lt;u&gt;visual&lt;/u&gt; aspects that I've neglected to fix (IE: adding corner edges to both grass tiles) which will inevitably happen during the polishing phase.&lt;br&gt;

Last night or this morning rather, Ive completed the last major form of transportation that will be available in game. These being by Rails or traveling by Sea.&lt;br&gt;

Simply put, traveling by sea is the only way a player can leave the main continent to get to smaller neighboring countries.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Traveling by train only allows the player travel to hubs(smaller towns) within their respective country.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Each operates on a timed schedule. The time it takes to travel between destinations would be determined by their distance.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;

As of now Im still polishing the Map, so you probably wont be hearing anything significant relating to the art aspect of the game from me in awhile.</description>
