A link to a very good tutorial. It explains common terms used in pixel art along with what is and whats not considered pixel art and what not to do in pixel art.

Good read for anyone wishing to brush up on their skills.

This tutorial makes me think that Shiny pokemon were just badly shaded mistakes and they said "Hey! Lets stick them in the game anyway"

When I was a PokeTard (Age 8 or 9), I caught a Shiny MissingNo. Afterwards, my gameboy refused to turn on. Sigh.

I wonder how you caught a shiny missingno when shinys didn't even exist, nice fail though.

shinies have always existed in pokemon since the very first game. such as red gyarados in silver and gold and in yellow they had shinies too and blue and red had a couple shinies as i cought a shiny golem
