hi ong i converted mp3 to wav and its 30mb lol that wont do so is wma sound files supported by byond??
Nope. MIDI or WAV only. You can encode WAVs with MP3 compression, but there are problems with that. (Not everyone can play them, there's a noticeable delay before the sound starts to play, and I seem to remember at least one person reported stuttering sound.)

I suggest you go with MIDI, or don't have any music at all. It's unfortunate, but there's not much to be done about it. Hopefully we'll have MOD support in the future. Hopefully.

ok yea i suppose i have to go with midi's then not a huge problem seeing that I have rare midi's that r as good as mp's.

There's no such thing as a rare midi. They can all be copied with the press of three buttons. Also, midi files and mp3 files are VASTLY different. Comparing them is like comparing apples to thermonuclear warheads.

Well, apples and thermonuclear warheads are completely alike except where they are completely different.

There - a good comparison =P

There are some pretty good midi files though. I found some Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 & 2 (for GameCube/XBox/PS2) ones a while back, and they sound just like the games.

They sound just like the games on your computer, yes. What a MIDI file sounds like can vary from computer to computer, due to different MIDI instruments depending on your card and its drivers.
