I kept seeing a post in BYOND central - http://www.byond.com/ members/?command=view_post&post=78854 - pop up in my blog home page, and in looking over the article and comments I came to the conclusion that most of the posters in that thread are dense beyond belief. And I mean like concrete-blockhead-dense.

The most recent poster compelled me to reply in that article, and here it is, just on the off-chance the comments get whacked.

First off (and this goes for everyone in this thread who has a BYOND problem), this is *not* the help forum. A little bit of effort on your part would have led you to http://www.byond.com/help/forum which is also readily available as a link in the top navigation of this website.

Secondly, Mr. Prodigy, if you insist on acting like a child by posting in the wrong place to begin with *then* verbally abusing complete strangers (in violation of some level of community standards, no less) when it is more likely the fault is at your end *and* you've obviously haven't done diddli-squat to research if others have had the same problem (they have) and whether solutions exist (they do), then yes the staff might very well tell you what you can do with your attitude.

Oh, and hiding cuss words with * is still cussing. You're not fooling anyone.

Being the cool, calm, collected, cool dude that I am most famous for in this community, my real thoughts were more along the lines of:

"why not pay attention once in a while, you moron! use the friggin' help section! It's what it's there for, you adolescent reject. And what is 'token'? It's not even remotely funny in that context, and you can't expect anyone to believe that you did it accidentally since the letters are on opposite sides of the keyboard, you genetically-challenged putz." (paraphrased)

I didn't have my pocket thesaurus handy, or i would have said *really* bad things. Plus I didn't feel like making anyone cry today. Meh, I must be getting mellow in my old age.
