A few months back I got to try out a new trike on the market, currently dubbed the O-trike, because 'Olympic trike' was thought to be some sort of rights infringement on the Olympic Games franchise.

Andy Ng, who sells the O-trike in the U.S., came over to Denmark to visit the Leitra shop and brought the entry-level model, called the Bronze. Below are some videos he just published covering my test ride:

This last one is a 'Take 2' regarding my preference for rear-suspension:

In the second video, I mentioned prefering the red Bronze model. The next higher model, the Silver (with rear suspension) has arrived in time for my birthday, and it's blue:

I have begun the Silver's test trials, and I like some things, hate other things - more on that in another blog post. If it survives my abuse (including an up-coming 10-day camping tour of southern Sweden), I could become a dealer/distributor of the O-trike for eastern Europe.
10 miles in 10 minutes? A mile a minute? 60 miles per hour? ;-)

Looks neat, though. I have to admit I'm tempted.

The take-two does make it sound sweeter, because then he doesn't sound blindsided.
yeah, i caught that too. i wanted to say 10 miles in 30 minutes (far more realistic), but i spoke too fast.

Although, with a good tail-wind and a decent downhill road, you could get up to 60 mph. I've gotten up to 40mph in that beast of mine http://www.byond.com/members/digitalmouse/files/2008%2D06/ digitalmouse%2D0001/200806131240_550_thumb.jpg - and i am *not* very fit compared to those really serious about cycling.
digi, do you try to be that nerdy or is it just a natural occurrence?
