As some of you may or may not know, an e-war has been raging within our anime guild since last thursday.

It all started when a semi-well-ok-maybe-not-well-known troll became a google assassin for a bigger troll. Despite being in imaginary prison, Dark Wizard began running on his emergency jackass reserve, and quickly looked for drama in the world he knew best...The internet. With his quick thinking, he payed BigBoiD 20 Washingtons to release Masterdan's Dan Van Kampen's information. We can only guess how many calls from narutards his family received asking for Free GM.

It was soon apparent that Mr. Van Kampen's Caller ID was no match for BBD's Star 6-7. In the end, Tom would have to step in and sacrifice his time to delete the endless flood of spam...as well as ban BigBoiD. So I guess that kindof makes Tom the BYOND Jesus

Several card games have emerged since the ending of the apokelypse, each more potently gay than the next. In the late 90's, Yu-Gi-Oh! emerged as the new cardboard crack. It wasn't until 2003 until this plague hit BYOND with full force. Despite being a pretty decent time-killer, it has one of the largest cult-like fanbases around.

Duel Monsters Online is the flagship game of the franchise, despite what some faggots think. In most duel monsters games you will find over 9000 trash-talking 13 year olds using the same gravekeeper deck. Also each game has it's nerd-in-chief; who acts as their "Neo" to fulfill the prophecy that they may one day recieve 22 virgins.

Duel Monsters Online has revoked it's ranking system and reinstated it fiftyleven times. It is always based on stars. If you have a bronze star, you're a noob, 2 bronze stars, you're sorta 1337, once you achieve 5 you can spill into a new color and achieve the rank of prison bitch. If you spend many hours of your day you can eventually attain several clothing items for your character, all related to the series. These items include: angel wings, swords, shanks, dildos, and other paraphernalia.

In retrospect, most players who make a name for themselves in this BYOND cult tend to ONLY be known in DMO, and never anywhere else. For example, I'm not even sure if that brokensoul guy has a number in his name or not...It could be Br0kensoul or Brok3nsoul. The only thing I REALLY know about this guy is that he is the only level 70 douchebag who has attained 5 triple platinum plated diamond stars on DMO and lived to tell about it.

It's come to my attention that recently someone has been spreading around Masterdan's address, phone number, and the like on BYOND Anime's forum.

And I must say, I am disgusted. Propaganda has always pushed the envelope in shit that can be pulled, but this is even too much for us. I cannot believe how low people have sunk. This is despicable and I personally won't tolerate it. To the individual(s?) responsible: please think before doing something so down right horrid.

Running a quick search on the White Pages for "van Kampen" (his last name found on his personal page from the University of Calgary) in the Alberta province (Calgary being a city of said province), I only found this. The only result is a DOUG van Kampen! This is not Masterdan at all! You should think before spreading the personal information of someone else! What if someone had used this information?! He has nothing to do with this abomination to humanity we love to call Masterdan!

Unless this is actually Masterdan's address and Doug is just his dad. If so, then it's just cruel to punish these people anymore. They're already ashamed as it is having a 20 something year old son who still lives at home! A son that is going to school for Accounting of all things, and apparently who's only aspiration is to get a double major in Computer Science. An aspiration so futile, since even making a website with a modicum of skill in Dreamweaver escapes him. They've spent so much money to send their son to a school he got in only because of a miracle directly from God Himself, and he's dreaming of wasting the days away behind a computer? He has no girlfriend, preferring the sweet embrace of internet porn. Oh poor Doug, no one to carry on the proud "van Kampen" name!

Now, think for a second. What if these poor, poor van Kampens were to receive mail and phone calls from random strangers? What if somehow they were to find out that even people on the internet, the idol of their son's affection, hate him as much as people do outside of it? Well, that could drive a parent to suicide. We shouldn't do that to them - they already have to live with the regret of childbirth.

Alas, Doug! I pray for your soul, and a quick escape from the disappointment that is your son!

Since the dawn of the gaming industry, there have been countless acts of racism. Often forcing many of our fine twelve year olds to resort to derogatory terms such as "jew" or that dreaded N word. Our BYOND community isn't much different. As I set out on my epic quest to find black people in our community, I was surprised at how diverse the community actually is. We have a list of a bunch of people who play the game, but also have above average genetalia and a weakness to Icebreaker's sugarfree watermelon bubblegum...
