Do your NPCs lack punch? Do you want them to be somewhat more realistic? Would you like NPCs that can talk to players? NPCs that can learn to speak whatever language you wish?
That's what this library does. The bots aren't perfect at first, but that may be an advantage - you could use it to drive an impassive guard that only responds to certain select phrases - maybe a password. But if you allow them to learn, to pick up new replies to phrases they've never heard before, then they can become almost uncannily human.
