Edit: I've seen so much stuff regarding Minecraft. But I never actually knew what it was. Is it suppose to be like a giant RP world? Obviously it's not done. But when it is, what's making it so popular?

Looks like maybe you have to log in, or you don't have Java installed on your computer. Either way, its a game about building, mining, and fighting; it's like a sandbox game with absolutely no real goal. At the moment, I'm not really playing it though; despite the single player mode being pretty fleshed out, it still gets a bit boring after a while, and multiplayer mode lacks damage support still, which makes it not so fun.

EDIT: Also, my character skin is the default skin but with all red clothes and a soviet sickle and hammer logo on the front.
