Status: Open

Issue hasn't been assigned a status value.
At present the webclient appears to be limited to a WIDTHxHEIGHT of 962x602. The BYOND logo is clearly visible as is the copyright and site links in the footer.

IMO the client should be flexible and stretch to fit on the users' screen. It would then be up to the developer to create a suitable skin.

Only the headbar should be left behind. All the links in the headbar should open in a new window/tab. The notification bar should be dynamic, at least in the webclient. If I have pending notifications while joining a game through the web client the logo will stay red until I reconnect to the server by refreshing my browser screen.

EDIT: See my 3rd comment.

I'm sure the current setup is temporary. When they get around to letting us do stuff like embed in websites or playing from an exe in a standalone window, size control would be a given.
It would also be nice if the webclient could be embedded into a website through an iframe. I'm sure it wouldn't impact the ads very much & if the webclient is full-width nothing would need to be done to support this.

If that sounds bad then perhaps owning a hub entry would be a requirement for embedding the client? You can use X-Frame-Options to prohibit embedding the client (byond.com/play URLs) in IFRAMEs.
This is on the to do list. If you take a look at the release announcement of the webclient, you'll see that they need to create a wrapper around the login section first.

Ah, must have missed that then. Glad to know it's on The List.
