The obvious assumption being that people who share the same first name... are the same people? Under that logic, our first president is the same guy as our last president.

Did you even think about it for more than half a millisecond? If BYOND was made by the guy who made MySpace, don't you think there would be some integration between the two sites or really ugly page design here?
