Important note: This library depends on my pif_LongInt library
pif_Random implements a 'protocol class' for psuedorandom number generation. By 'protocol class', I mean that the /pif_Random class defines 10 methods to be used by subclasses to allow programmers to handle pseudorandom number generation in a consistent way. One may then design a library around the protocol independent of the algorithm one is using, so long as the class implements this protocol.
pif_Random by default only contains a wrapper around the built-in functionality provided by the rand() and rand_seed() procs. More specific implementations of pseudorandom number generation algorithms can be found at one of the following libraries, which implement the pif_Random protocol.
